Personal Note Dear readers, It has been a while since you last received a copy of Feng Shui Journal. Much has happened in my personal life and career. Finally with this issue onwards, I am able to write more regularly. As of now, almost all process of this journal is going to be automated. So that leaves me much time to just write. For the span of nearly 2 years, I have been traveling across the world teaching Qi Men Dun Jia (USA, UK, Germany, Russia, and Singapore) and now we are going to launch our San Yuan Feng Shui program this coming November 2007 across the globe. So in the coming issues of FS Journal, I anticipate much of the writing will be done during my transit time in airports. ARTICLE Baby Who? by GK Ham 
This article is inspired by many newborns to friends and clients life in this past month. Almost every week of this month, my wife and I would receive news that there is a newborn to our friends or relatives and I have even had 3 clients that called me up to re-audit their house to anticipate a newborn baby to their family! Even by switching on the TV, networks are busy promoting the upcoming movie by Jackie Chan which also revolves around a baby! So what is the relation of a new baby to a family? Other than the new sleeping schedule for the parents, it relates quite an amount or specifically it affects the destiny of the child and also his/her parents. As any human being who is born, in Chinese Metaphysics you would have a Destiny Map or what we would normally called 4 Pillars @ BaZi (Eight Characters). It derives from date of birth and time; it will spell out a guide on what are the likely events that will happen in a person life. That will include information such as more than one set of parents (2 moms or 2 dads), financially well to do parents, health problems during childhood and much more. And it tends to be more precise to the events that the ‘young’ person has no control towards. This is because it is called an ‘Early Heaven – Xian Tian’ criteria. Things later in life, such as career and friends are influence by CHOICES that the person makes in each crossroads of their life. 
In destiny of families, events and effects are connected to each other by the string of relationships that are formed. Therefore destinies often are intertwined especially when we are discussing about parent and child. Many of my clients are often surprise when I explained to them the depth of their connection to their children. It is not merely family connection, but a destiny connection exists the moment the child is born. In this issue I will offer some tips to upcoming parents on how to avoid real negative BaZi in 2007 if you are planning to have a baby next year. 
For the year 2007, we will have DING (STEM) and HAI (BRANCH). It will be the year of Ding Fire Boar. Year on a person’s BaZi means their ancestors and Month denotes the parents. So if a person BaZi has a clash on the Year and Month, it means that person will not have a stable relationship with the elders. The plus point is that BaZi that has clash on the Stems would usually means that the person is bright or smart. For year 2007, a full clash (Year Stem/Branch clash Month Stem/Branch) will not exist due to the arrangements of 60 Jia Zi cycle. However a Stem Clash does exist on month of 6 March 2007 – 5 April 2007 and another clash is on 6 January 2008 – 4 February 2008 
Also those that are born between 6 March – 5 April are more likely to develop heart problems (in late 50’s for male and female in early 40’s) and those who are born between 6 January – 4 February 2008 are more likely to have weaker hearts. 
It is impossible to list all BaZi for the coming 2007 and pinpoint which one will have very high chances of problem. However if you are planning to conceive, do be mindful of the 2008 January month. For next month’s article I will discuss on
